Your windows are nobody else's business.

The short version

QuickSwitch collects nothing. There is no account to create, no server to talk to, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDK bundled with the app.

What stays on your Mac

Window titles and application names are read from macOS only while the switcher is open, and are used solely to render the list you see. They are never written to a remote service.

Your favorites, keyboard shortcuts, and appearance preferences are stored locally in the app's own preferences file.

System permissions

To list and activate windows, macOS requires QuickSwitch to be granted Accessibility access in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. This permission is used exclusively to enumerate open windows and bring the one you pick to the front. You can revoke it at any time.

Network access

QuickSwitch works fully offline. The app does not phone home, and no telemetry, identifiers, or usage statistics are transmitted.

Third parties

App downloads are served directly from this website. The sponsorship links point to GitHub Sponsors, and the share buttons open the relevant social network. Those services have their own privacy policies and apply only when you choose to use them.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published here and noted in the release notes on GitHub.
